Q: Can I apply if my book is only published as a Kindle ebook?
A: Absolutely, Kindle ebooks are eligible for submission.
Q: Can I apply if my book is in Hindi or any other regional language?
A: Yes, we welcome books in all regional languages.
Q: Will there be an offline award event?
A: Yes, join us on Nov 29th, 2026, in Kathmandu, Nepal for an unforgettable offline event. Charges apply for attendance.
Q: How will I receive my award kit?
A: Please note that all award recipients will be presented with their accolades on stage during the event. Awards will not be couriered to recipients. This decision aims to encourage networking opportunities, allowing authors to connect with peers, expand their professional networks, and fully immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the event.
Q: Who owns Gurucool Book Awards?
Gurucool Publishing is the owner of Gurucool Book Awards.
Q: What are the deadlines for book submission?
Last date to nominate your book is 5th November, 2026 OR may be early, if all seats are filled. We have 50 seats.
Q: Can I bring my family or friends to the Awards event on 29th November, 2026.
Yes, you need to book guest ticket. Guest ticket is for INR 3,000/-. For recipient of Award the fee is INR 9,000/-
Q: I have a co-author also in my Book. Would my co-author also receive the Award?
Yes, Kindly let us know in advance so that certificate and trophy can be kept ready. Needless to say, you need to add additional ticket.
Q: I wrote one chapter in one of the Anthologies, am I eligible to receive the Award?
We are not considering Anthologies this year for Awards.
Q: If my book is selected for the Award and I made a payment of INR 9,000/-. What all is included in this event ticket?
All promotional benefits as stated above in this website. You'll receive the award on stage. You'll attend the Full Day Event on 29th November at Kathmandu, Nepal with Morning & Evening Hi-tea and Lunch. Travel and stay are not included in the event ticket.
Q: I'll not able to join on the event day as I have some other assignment. Can I send someone on my behalf to receive the award?
Yes you can. However, we'll not send the award through courier. Either you or someone on your behalf need to participate in the event to receive the Award.
Q: Can I nominate my book in the month of November?
Yes you can, if nominations are open by that time. We have limited seats, if filled early, we'll close the nominations.
Q: I have written multiple books. How may books I can nominate?
Any one book.
